May 11, 2017 Reminds me a little bit of Guardian Heroes. It's a fair game. Cute design, and no need for Japanese knowledge to play through it. The fighting is mediocre/average, and the enemy's voices surpass annoyance. Monster Hunter: World Teams Up with The Witcher for a Ser. >playing Resident Evil 2 I’ve played 1,Code Veronica, 4,5, and 7 so I’m going back to play the rest of the PS1 trilogy. >Looking for Symphony of the Night I’m trying to find it at a reasonable price but the scalpers love this one almost as much as Castlevania IV >Modding I’m playing on original hardware so if there’s a way to mod a console as old as the Playstation I’d like to hear it. Panzer Bandit Psx Iso Download>reminiscing I sold a lot of my games from when I was a kid when I was in college. I’m kicking myself now because I lost some games I had really fond memories of like Mega Man Legends and Abe’s Odyssey. >Playing Nothing at the moment, but might replay a PS1 Spyro again to try to clear this feeling of not wanting to play much in general right now. Usually works well for me, and I'm glad the games still hold up as well as they do. >Looking for At the moment, not that much, both on account of ability to dump ISOs on systems, and on prices in general being on the up these days. Been seeing stuff like Symphony of the Night and Xenogears, both of which having sold quite well here, for $45+ these days (which makes me glad I got mine some years back for $25 and $5 respectively). Fuck, even massively bestsellers like Crash go for $20+ either label, when a few years back they'd be about $5-10 (first game aside; that one was always about $20 by the time I'd started looking). Do have a half shelf of actual games though, all complete and in great condition. Just haven't had the mixture of prices being good and the games being of interest to add to it as much as with other systems. Saw a copy of Dragon Valor lately that caught my eye, but at $35 and apparently iffy reception, I figure I'd better just download and dump it on my PSP or PS1 first as a demo, if not more. >Modding I usually just use a CFW PSP for PS1 games, but with having a CFW PS3 now, I should probably try loading some through that as well. Do have a PS2 as well for what games I do actually own, >Reminiscing Never really had much for my old PS1 growing up to reminisce on. Just unlocking cars and track in Hot Wheels Turbo Racing, and bringing my Spyro games to a daycare to kill time when I was in fifth or sixth grade, as they had a PS2 for the older kids there. >they're cheap as hell. Depends on what you like, but I suppose that's obvious. But it's been at least three or so years since I managed any really good finds for the system, in terms of still getting stuff at lower than average prices, and some of those games have since gone way up at the same places (in one case despite having next to no demand to warrant it). >AC3 Reminder that the fan-translation patch for the Japanese ISO has been an option for a year or two now. >Symphony of the Night >I’m trying to find it at a reasonable price but the scalpers love this one almost as much as Castlevania IV Super Castlevania IV also suffer from the Nintendo tax. But yeah, SotN has shot up to stupid amounts these days; I'd have to double check dates and spikes, but I would assume there's heavy correlation with Bloodstained's announcement. Friend says he's glad I told him when I saw one for $12 a couple years back. But to my knowledge it's always been worse in PAL, on the off chance you live there. Heard it was going for about $80 minimum when it was only about $25 here at the time, and that was in part to Konami fucking them over with a small original print and no Greatest Hits like NA eventually saw for it. If it's already $50+ here, I'd imagine that PAL's gone up to an even higher point as well. Psx Iso PackI got it today after going on a spree of looking for cartoon games and it looked like one of the best for any platform. It's a lot of fun, looks great, controls very well, has nice sound, and has exactly what a cartoon game should offer in terms of how you accomplish goals (item use, running off cliffs, etc.) There's modchips and I've heard of people running Linux on it, hoping I see mention of mods I'm not aware of. >console as old as Consoles older than this have mods too. >Depends on what you like Yeah certainly, but I'm finding this gen and the next for Sony has a lot more good games at lower prices than other systems of the time. I'm trying to not wait it out like I thought I could do for other consoles years ago. And would suggest the same for others thinking about looking into getting some games for it prices only rise nowadays. PS2 and PS3 seem the most reasonable as far as decent quality:lower price ratio goes. And with the PS2 I still find pretty solid games at below average prices where I live. PS3 I'm mostly set for what looked of interest to me, at least as far as what hasn't been sent forward. PS1 though has been the farthest back I can go and still manage to occasionally benefit from pricing fuckups over the years though (but again, it's been a few years since I found anything of interest a such prices). Third and fourth gen are too infested with the mixture of scalpers pressing their luck and hipsters with too much money and too little common sense (though that also applies to the N64 and especially the Gamecube, the latter pretty much being SNES 2.0 in terms of overpricing, albeit with a smaller worthwhile library). 7. All PS3 models can handle PS1 games, though like the PS2 being able to play them, there are some slight incompatibilities. It's native PS2 compatibility that was stripped with the slims. >Oddworld Both PS1 ones are still reasonably priced, at least in my parts. Maybe $12 each on a good day, complete and in good condition. The modern remakes might have something to do with it though, if people have been 'trading up' from their originals, hence lowering price. >PAL I feel kind of bad for you guys over the years, between price hikes, delayed releases, and outright non-releases you guys got fucked out of for whatever reasons. Anyhow, if JRPGs are of interest, you might be better off emulating or modding a system to play imports (though even some NA ones are stupid expensive these days) or burned discs/digital loading (like a PSP with eboots), or if you have a PS3, at least making a NA PSN account and getting some cards for the region (our PSN is still lacking in ways, but offers more than PAL does). ![]() Panzer Bandit Ps1 IsoThen again, >Buying console digital. Pal region had games but like anything that is PAL you have to look for those vidya games. I do have a ps3 with a NA account since it's my actual main account, I look for games that have the more violence and blood mainly because it was those violent games that got me into gaming. And I remember Nightmare Creature to be one heck of a violent game even MediEvil was kinda violent. But I remember looking for Thrill Kill because when I was a kid I had a moded ps1, and I got all kinds of games from a father to a friend of mine that did burn the CDs and sold these illegal games to kids for like 5 dollars per burnt cd, so i got my hands on Thrill Kill and remembering playing that game all the time along with MK4. But when I was looking for Thrill Kill I first realized that the game never came out and the reason I could play it was because of the early pirate market at the time. Psx Iso TorrentMan, that pissed me off allot. I mean, do you all have any idea how many amazing games there are on this system? You can literally find hundreds and even then you're only scratching the surface. There's great Western games, great Western games, great shooters, great adventures awaiting you. You ever feel down in the dumps and don't know what to play? Just take a shot in the dark and you'll fall in love with another game. Pop'n Tanks I don't think the framerate is a big issue. A higher one would be nicer but it's not a deal breaker. Very rarely do I find it to be a deal breaker. >playing Fighting Force, Twisted Metal (hate the controls), Destruction Derby, Future Cop LAPD and discovering Armored Core for the first time. >looking for a way to convert PSX games into installable.pkg files because ever since I found a pack of a shitton PSX games for PS3 I've been spoiled. >modding I jailbroke my PS3 to play everything Playstation, I'm good >reminiscing Fighting Force reminded me why I used to love video games, especially after I showed my friend what you could do in that game.
